Willow Springs Golf & Country Club

March 2010

We have new style Maxx sunglasses, ladies colored and half fingered gloves, a new assortment of caps and different Ping supplies, and of course, a good selection of new and improved, super golf balls.

On Wednesday, April 28th a Ping representative will be coming to Willow Springs to personally fit irons for those who are interested.  I am excited about our club fitting day and the Ping system.  If you have ever wanted to be fitted for clubs that are especially right for you, this will is a good opportunity. There is no cost to you, but we do ask that you pre-register so we know how many people to expect.  We will have a signup sheet in the pro shop.

Junior Golf begins the first Monday after school ends.  This is a great way to introduce your kids to golf.  We focus on teaching golf etiquette and skills to improve their game.  It runs for 5 weeks and concludes with our Adult/Child tournament.  There is no charge for children of members; there is a small fee for others.  Junior Golf is open to youth between the ages of 5 and 18.  This year we plan to offer high school students a separate group.  They will start at 11:30 and play 9 holes.  Last year we had nearly 80 kids participate in the program.

Many of you have already renewed your memberships, and we thank you.   If you haven’t done so yet, this is a reminder that the deadline for the early-pay discount is April 1st.
