Thursday we are having our Fitting Day at the course. Again Ken Moore the Ping rep, Mike and myself will be doing the fitting. If you have never been fitted it is a informative and fun experience. It does not cost anything but your time. The reason I bring Ken to the course is to inform YOU. When you go to buy clubs, it benefits you to get the club that best suits you. So sign up in the pro shop to be informed.

We are open 9 am until dusk weather permitting. The course is in GREAT shape. Because of our early spring weather the course has dried up from the heavy rains. The fairways are cleaned up and mowed, and greens are putting well.

The seniors have begun their scrambles on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am.

Tuesdays and Thursdays we are starting up 18 hole leagues that will play a handicap format. Anyone who wants to play 18 hoes is welcome to come on either day. Partners will be drawn from the pool of players who are present each day. These leagues begin April 17 and 19.

This week a couple leagues are starting and quite a few leagues have league meetings, check the board or call the golf course to see if you are starting. Also, if you are interested in a league their are opening in each type of league and any day. Sign up you will enjoy it!

Ping Representative Ken Moore fitted Thrusday April 26th for our third annual club fitting day. Mike, Ken and myself was busy from 11am until 8 pm. The weather was not as good so we didn’t get as many walk ins, but it was again very successful. One added fitting was the putter fitting in Ken’s van. We also have that capability along with iron and driver fitting. If you missed the fitting sign up in the pro shop and we will fit you. My goal is to have all our members and anyone else who is interested experience club fitting. After you’ve been fitted, you will be able to make more informed club purchases. We have quite a few demos in the shop for you to try. You are welcome to try them anytime.

WILLOW SPRINGS Restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. until leagues end, and weekends during club events. We specialize in delicious burgers and we feature homemade soups. Check our daily specials!

Friday nights we offer grilled steak or fish dinners as well as tempting desserts
